JAPAN eVISA: who can apply online
The JAPAN eVISA is a single-entry tourist visa for stays of up to 90 days. It is for ordinary passport holders who fly in, or arrive on a scheduled ferry from Busan or Shanghai. It depends on where you live, not your nationality:
Apply online yourself if you live in Australia, Brazil, Cambodia, Canada, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, Taiwan, the United Kingdom or the USA.
Apply through an accredited agency if you live in Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Macau, Mongolia, the Republic of Korea, Singapore or the United Arab Emirates. Chinese nationals living in China apply through an accredited agency too. So do Filipino and Vietnamese nationals travelling on designated package tours.
For other visa types, or if you live elsewhere, apply at the Japanese embassy or consulate for your area.
